You only pay when you sell

The account, the app and every feature are free: there is no premium account any more, no option to unlock. WiNet earns through a single commission, taken automatically on each access sold from your portal — that is the only deduction today. No subscription, nothing to pay upfront.

Why no percentage is shown here

The rate depends on the payment method your customers use, the volume of your zone and the fees the operator charges us. It is stated in plain terms when your account opens, before your first sale, and stays visible in the app. Email us at [email protected] to find out the rate for your town.

Why WiNet does not sell subscriptions

A neighbourhood WiFi zone does not take the same money in January as in August. A hotel empties out, a campus closes, a power cut costs you three days. A monthly subscription would make you pay for those quiet spells — exactly what we wanted to avoid.

With a commission taken at the sale, our interest matches yours: your portal needs to sell. When your zone does well, we earn; when it stops, we take nothing. No reminders, no invoices, no access cut off over an unpaid bill.

  • You never pay WiNet in advance
  • No minimum term, no notice period
  • Your zone keeps running even after a month without a single sale
  • No feature is reserved for a paid account: everything is open from sign-up

What you will never see

  • A monthly or yearly subscription to renew
  • Mandatory setup fees to open a zone
  • A payment to make inside the app before you can sell
  • A cap on zones, bundles or customers behind a paid tier
  • An extra commission added at payout time
  • A direct debit on your Mobile Money account

The money questions, straight up

Are there hidden fees?+

No. There is only one WiNet deduction: the commission withheld when a customer pays for their access on your portal. Everything else — account, app, router enrolment, every portal template, PPPoE, account-wide vouchers, listings, support — is free. Hardware you buy from another manager and jobs you hand to a technician are settled directly with that person: WiNet takes nothing along the way and is not part of the transaction.

Are there payout fees?+

WiNet adds no fee when you transfer your balance to your Mobile Money number. Only the fees the operator may charge on that kind of transfer — MTN, Orange, M-Pesa, Airtel, Wave, depending on your country — can apply, and they do not come to us. The amount that will be sent is shown before you confirm the payout.

What happens if I sell nothing this month?+

Nothing. No invoice is issued, no amount is claimed, your account is neither suspended nor deleted. Your zones, your bundles and your portal stay in place and start again as soon as the power, the internet link or the customers come back. A commission only exists if there has been a sale.

Can I change my mind and stop?+

Yes, at any time and without notice. You pay out the remaining balance to your Mobile Money, then either leave the account idle or ask for its permanent deletion. The router is yours: it stays with you. No penalty, nothing to pay to leave.

Is the hardware mandatory?+

You need a MikroTik router and an internet connection — that is the only technical requirement. You do not have to buy it from us: if you already own a compatible model, enrol it directly. The app has a listings area where managers offer their hardware; you find the seller there and contact them. The sale happens directly between the two of you: WiNet does not take the order, does not receive the money, does not track delivery and does not arbitrate disputes.

How do I find out my commission rate?+

You are told when your account opens, before your first sale, and it stays visible in the app. If you want to know now, just tell us where your zone is and which payment methods your customers use: write to [email protected]. Reply within 24 working hours.
