The rules governing your account, your zones, your sales and your payouts on the WiNet platform.

Last updated: 21 July 2026

These terms govern use of the WiNet app and platform, published by WiNet (Yaoundé, Cameroon). By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.

1. Service

WiNet lets a manager connect routers, create WiFi access bundles, manage zones and track earnings. End customers buy access on the WiFi portal; the manager receives the corresponding revenue, less the platform commission.

2. Account

  • Creating an account requires your first name, surname, phone number, email address (verified by a code) and a password — or a Google sign-in.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity carried out from your account.
  • An account is personal; data access is partitioned per manager.
  • You may delete your account at any time from “My account” in the app (see the privacy policy).

3. Manager responsibilities

  • You warrant that you hold the rights required to operate the routers and resell Internet access in your area, in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • You are responsible for the bundles you publish (price, duration, volume) and for the quality of the service you provide to your customers.
  • You undertake not to use the service for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

4. Payments and payouts

  • Customer payments and Mobile Money payouts are handled by our provider MyCoolPay.
  • A platform commission is charged on WiFi access sales — and on those alone; the remaining balance is paid out to you on request.
  • Payouts are subject to a minimum amount and to payment validation by the aggregator.
  • No payment takes place inside the app: customers pay exclusively on the WiFi portal.

4 bis. Listings between managers

The app includes a space where managers publish hardware listings. WiNet is not a party to these transactions. It puts people in touch, nothing more.

  • WiNet handles no order, no payment and no delivery. Price, settlement and handover of the hardware are agreed directly between buyer and seller.
  • WiNet takes no commission on these sales and at no point holds the corresponding funds.
  • WiNet gives no warranty as to the condition, conformity, origin or working order of the hardware offered, and does not arbitrate disputes between buyer and seller.
  • The seller is responsible for the accuracy of their listing and the lawfulness of what they offer; the buyer remains free to inspect the hardware before paying.
  • Publishing a listing makes the account's name and phone number visible to other managers so they can reach you. Withdrawing the listing ends that display.
  • WiNet may withdraw a listing that is plainly misleading, unlawful or off-topic, without that implying any warranty over the listings it has not withdrawn.

5. Acceptable use

You undertake not to attempt to access other managers' data, not to circumvent security mechanisms, and not to disrupt the operation of the service.

6. Intellectual property

WiNet, its software, its brand and its content remain the property of WiNet. No licence is granted beyond the right to use the service.

7. Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability shall not exceed the sums you have paid us for the service.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms or fraudulent use. You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Where a change is significant, we will tell you through the app or by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law in force in Cameroon.
