Four parts, one WiFi business

WiNet is a complete system rather than a single app: an app to run everything, a portal to sell, a router to broadcast, and a payment chain that collects the money and sends it to your phone.

Overview

How the four parts fit together

The idea fits in one sentence: the router broadcasts, the portal sells, the payment chain collects, the app runs the show. Each part does one job well, and WiNet holds them together.

So there is nothing to install on your customers' phones, nothing to code and nothing to pay upfront. Plug in a compatible router, set your prices, and the system keeps working while you get on with your day.

  • No cash to put up: customers pay before they connect.
  • No technical work on site once the zone is running.
  • One account, as many zones as you want to open.
  1. The router broadcasts

A MikroTik plugged into your internet connection creates the zone's WiFi network and holds visitors back until they have a valid voucher.

  2. The portal sells

Anyone who joins the network lands on your page. They pick one of the bundles you named, pay, and get their access. You do nothing, and their code stops working on the deadline you set.

  3. The payment chain collects

Whatever mobile money the zone's country uses (MTN, Orange, Airtel Money, M-Pesa, Wave, Telecel), plus USSD and bank transfer in Nigeria, or a bank card. Every confirmed sale tops up that zone's balance. See the 13 countries served.

  4. The app runs the show

You see the balance, the sales and the state of each router, and you start the payout to your Mobile Money number.

Who does what, exactly

A WiNet zone involves three people at most: you, your customer, and sometimes a technician for the setup. Here is how the roles split up.

PartWho uses itWhat it does
Manager app You, the manager Create zones and bundles, track the balance and the sales, get alerts, start payouts. No payment ever happens inside it.
Captive portal Your end customer Show your bundles in your colours, take the payment, issue the access voucher and open the connection.
MikroTik router Nobody, once installed Broadcast the WiFi, block visitors without a voucher, enforce the time and data purchased, expire codes on the due date even with no internet, and report its status back to WiNet.
Payment chain Customer, then manager Receive the Mobile Money or card payment, credit the zone's balance, and send the payout to your number.
WiNet technician Optional, per field visit Sets up or repairs a zone on site when you would rather hand over the hardware work. You open the field visit from the zone and get the report back : see field visits.

What to remember about the money

You buy nothing inside the app, and no feature is locked behind a paid account: portals, PPPoE, listings and account-wide vouchers are open to everyone. Your sales fill the zone's balance. WiNet earns a single commission on each sale, with no subscription and nothing to pay upfront.
